Joseph Eugene Prusacki

Joseph Eugene Prusacki, 49, of Tamaroa, passed away at 4:55 P.M., Thursday, May 13, 2004 at his residence.
Joseph was a welder and fabricator for eighteen years at Joy Mining Machinery in Mt. Vernon, IL.  He was a member of Friendship Church of Christ in Tamaroa and Sons of American Legion in Tamaroa.
He was born July 8, 1954 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of Eugene and Johnanna (Sizemore) Prusacki.
He married Kathy Y. Reeves on February 14, 1980 at Murphysboro and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, four children - Kreston Michael Szczepanski of Pinckneyville, Shelby Rae Bowles of Tamaroa, Brehn Joseph Prusacki of Tamaroa, and Skylar Blaiz Prusacki of Tamaroa, mother - Johnanna Prusacki of Tamaroa, three sister - Cheryl Sabo of Nashville, IL, Cindy Prusacki of Nashville, IL and Jennifer Wiesen of Hopkinsville, KY, and four grandchildren - Haley Szczepanski, Olivia Szczepanski, both of Tamaroa, Kinley Bowles of Tamaroa and Vaden Szczepanski of Pinckneyville.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother - Kenneth.
Funeral services were at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 17, 2004 at the Friendship Church of Christ in Tamaroa with Bro. Darrell McCombs officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa and from 1 P.M. until the time of the service at the church on Monday.
Interment was in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.
